five stations, each priced per episode, starting at $40.

00:02:40 — the stations, line by line

what each station does, what you send, and what comes back

On a single episode the five stations overlap inside a seventy-two-hour window. The timeline above the stations marks roughly where each one sits; the region on each line is its share of those hours.

  1. Trk 01

    edit

Two passes on every recording. The first reads the conversation like a transcript and repairs its structure: the answer that belongs before the question, the tangent that buries the point. The second plays at full speed and repairs its rhythm. Cuts land on breaths, never on consonants.

    You send

    • One WAV or FLAC per microphone
    • Thirty seconds of room tone
    • Any must-cut or must-keep moments, with timecodes

    We return

    • An edited session, ready for the mix
    • A cut log listing every structural change by timecode
from $185 per episode, up to 60 minutes Four or more voices, or heavy crosstalk: from $245 Edit complete by hour 27 Quote an edit
  2. Trk 02

    mix

Each voice gets its own EQ and compression, set by listening rather than by preset. Hum, HVAC and mouth noise are lifted out with spectral repair; music beds duck under speech and swell back in the gaps; room tone is matched so a cut never announces itself.

    You send

    • Music beds and stings, licensed for podcast use
    • Pronunciation notes for any names

    We return

    • A mixed stereo file, ready for mastering
    • A note on any noise we left in rather than damage the voice
$140 per episode, up to 60 minutes Mix complete by hour 43 Book the mix
  3. Trk 03

    master

Integrated loudness to −16 LUFS for stereo (−19 for mono), true peak held under −1 dBTP, then a final listen on studio monitors, a pair of earbuds and a phone speaker. Bought alone, it is the quickest way to make an already-mixed show sit level with everything else in a listener’s queue.

    You send

    • A mixed file at its native sample rate — or nothing, if the mix is ours

    We return

    • WAV master at 48 kHz / 24-bit
    • MP3 feed file at 128 kbps
    • A delivery note with the measured loudness
$65 per episode, up to 60 minutes Master and note by hour 53 Send a mix to master
  4. Trk 04

    show notes

Written like a magazine standfirst: what the episode argues, why it matters, who is speaking. Then chapter timestamps that match the audio to the second, guest links checked twice, and two social captions in your house style.

    You send

    • Guest names, titles and links
    • Your style guide, or two episodes’ notes you admire

    We return

    • A summary of around 120 words
    • Chapter timestamps, also embedded as markers
    • Two social captions
$55 per episode Notes drafted by hour 62 Commission the notes
  5. Trk 05

    distribute

The clerical station, taken as seriously as the edit. Episode and season numbers, ID3 tags, explicit flags and artwork checked at 3000 × 3000, then uploaded to your host and scheduled for an hour that suits your listeners rather than ours.

    You send

    • Team access to your host — Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Transistor, Megaphone or similar
    • Your preferred publish day and time

    We return

    • The episode scheduled to Apple Podcasts, Spotify and the open RSS feed
    • A confirmation with the live episode links

00:09:15 — extras

six extras, each on its own line of the invoice

Add any of these to a single station, a pilot or a season. They appear as separate lines on the written scope, so you always know what a trailer costs and what the transcript costs.

The extras that travel furthest are the ones a listener meets before the episode.

the trailer

$210

Sixty to ninety seconds cut from your strongest moments, with a music bed and a closing line that tells a stranger where to subscribe. Included in every season.

Add a trailer

the transcript

$38/ episode

Speaker-labelled and proofread against the audio, not merely run through recognition software. Useful for accessibility, for search, and for quoting your guests correctly.

Add transcripts

the clip pack

$95/ episode

Three vertical audiogram clips, thirty to sixty seconds each, with captions burned in and the waveform drawn in your show’s colours.

Add a clip pack

sound identity

$560/ once

An intro, an outro and two transition stings, built from licensed music and designed sound, mixed to sit under your voices rather than over them.

Commission a sound

the archive pass

$48/ episode

Older episodes remastered to −16 LUFS and re-uploaded, so the back catalogue plays at the same level as this week’s release.

Level the archive

rush master

+$120

A reviewable master within twenty-four hours on a single episode, when the calendar allows. When it doesn’t, we say so rather than hurry the edit.

00:19:30 — engagements

pilot, season or series: the whole path, line by line

The stations are identical in every engagement. What changes is how much preparation surrounds them, and the price per episode as the run gets longer.

00:24:02 — with every master

every master leaves white plains with a note attached

A file arriving in your inbox tells you very little. So each delivery comes with a single page, signed by the engineer who did the work, recording what was measured and what was decided along the way.

If a platform ever questions a file, if a sponsor asks for the loudness figure, or if your next producer wants to match the sound of season two, the answer is already written down, and it is yours to keep.

00:27:45 — terms

the fine print, set at the same size as everything else

Six things worth knowing before the scoping call, written so you don’t need to ask.

what counts as an episode
Up to sixty minutes of finished runtime. Longer episodes are welcome at $3.25 for each finished minute past sixty, quoted before work begins.
when you’re invoiced
Single stations and pilots on delivery of the reviewable master. Seasons and series in two halves: on approval of the written scope, and at the run’s midpoint.
revisions
One full round per episode, from timestamped notes. A second round is $45. The pilot exists to set the taste, so that later episodes need fewer notes.
stopping early
Work stops the day you ask. You pay for the stations already completed, and the files are yours either way.
your files
You own the recordings, the sessions and the masters. Project sessions are kept for ninety days after delivery, then deleted unless you ask us to archive them.
settling up
Card or ACH bank transfer, against the scope you approved.
VISA AMEX ACH

not on the rate card, on purpose

location recording

We produce from your files. Before your first session you receive a one-page recording brief, so the raw material arrives usable wherever it was captured.

synthetic voices

We don’t generate words a speaker didn’t say. A fluffed line is fixed with a pickup recording, never with a clone of the person’s voice.

subscriptions

Nothing renews on its own. Every engagement ends when its last episode publishes, and the next one begins only with a new scope.

00:36:00 — last segment

start with one episode, all five stations, $415.

That is $70 under the stations bought one at a time, and the clearest way to hear whether our ear suits your show. Book a thirty-minute scoping call at no cost; the written scope and price follow the call, before any file changes hands.
